A LUCIA
In the wild, icy wastelands of the Venezuelan Andes, teenage siblings Tita (15) and Willie (17) tend a dwindling herd of sheep. When several animals are stolen, they must answer to their violent father (45).
After a brutal beating, he arms them with a gun and sends them into the mountains to retrieve the lost sheep. As a grim incentive, he promises a reward: Willie dreams of a night with a Lucy (a prostitute), while Tita longs for a telephone to reach his absent mother.
Their journey through the unforgiving landscape will strip them to their core, forcing them to confront their fears, expose their deepest wounds, and prove who is truly worthy of the prize.
